Founded in 2004, A&A Publishing Pty Ltd is headed by Joy Aimée. Establishing the company was a natural progression for Joy who has worked with writers for several decades as a teacher, coach, editor and mentor. A writer herself, with a genuine interest in promoting the works of talented authors, Joy also has extensive experience in advertising and marketing.

Joy leads a highly professional team at A&A Publishing that continues to go from strength to strength. She has also built invaluable networks within the industry. As well as a strong non-fiction list, A&A Publishing is quickly establishing a reputation for quality childrens’ and adults’ fiction. Creative integrity, a desire to grow her authors and a strategic approach to marketing are just some of the qualities Joy brings to her client relationships. Debbie McInnes - A&A Book Publishing Media and MarketingDebbie McInnes – Media and Marketing

Debbie McInnes has been involved in public relations for the past twenty years. Prior to her career in public relations, Debbie achieved success in the sales area, consistently reaching above her sales objectives. In her role as Publicity Manager, Debbie devised publicity strategies for two of the largest and most prestigious publishing houses in Australia, Grafton Books (an imprint of Harper Collins) and Pan Macmillan. This opportunity enabled her to promote in a wide range of areas – the arts, sport, entertainment, business, health, travel, gardening and cookery. Since she began her boutique consultancy, she has handled a varied array of clients in the arts and corporate Australia.

Graham Johnson - PhotographerGraham Johnson – Photographer

Graham Johnson is an artist and freelance photographer. His photographic services are often called upon by A&A Publishing as not only is he skilled at relaxing anxious authors posing for portraits, he is also excellent at finding the right cover shot and visual accompaniments to the text. Graham takes his time to understand the brief, to get to know the subject and to choose the best time of day for the shoot – and the results speak for themselves!

Pamella McLeod - A&A Book Publishing AssistantPamella McLeod – Publishing Assistant

Pamella is a writer, editor and administrator with a background in social inquiry and research writing. She has a great passion for sharing her creativity through her writing of children’s illustrated books and by regularly participating in community projects. Pamella has interests in supporting new authors with their writing by providing editing and ghostwriting services through A&A Book Publishing.

Alyssa Critchley - A&A Book Pulbishing Editorial AssistantAlyssa Critchley – Editorial Assistant

Alyssa is a writer of fiction and non-fiction, a music reviewer and blogger as well as an assistant editor at A&A Publishing. Alyssa finds reward in working with clients to really bring out the best in their manuscripts. She takes comfort in the fact that even Gabrielle Garcia Marquez has suffered from writers’ block, and that alternatives to major publishing houses actually exist.

David Andor - A&A Book Publishing Creative DirectorDavid Andor – Creative Director

Coming from a background of music and art studies, David has been a design professional in digital media since 1998, and is always interested in pushing the envelope for A&A authors. He brings over 30 years experience in graphic arts and illustration to every project, and is also experienced across website design and audio/video media formats (online as well as CD/DVD), allowing him to shape projects to match a wide spectrum of markets and products as required.
